The gifts people keep.
A small studio making one considered keepsake for each season of the year.
Our thinking
Most Christmas presents end up in a drawer by February. Most Valentine’s cards are in the recycling by March. Most birthday gifts don’t survive the next birthday.
The gifts people actually keep — the ones that live on mantelpieces and bedside tables for decades — all share something the throwaway ones don’t. They carry a specific voice. A specific moment. A specific person. They’re impossible to replace because nobody else could have given them.
Keepsake Yard exists to make those.
What we do
We release one keepsake per season. Not fifty. One we’d give ourselves.
Each piece is built around the same idea: a gift that holds something personal inside it — a message, a voice, a moment — so the person opening it receives more than an object. They receive something only you could have given them.
We choose our materials the way a jeweller chooses a stone. Hand-finished glass, natural cork, solid-state recorders that outlast the batteries, inks that don’t fade in the sun. We’d rather release one piece a season than ten pieces we’re embarrassed about.
Our calendar
Christmas. Our Christmas Tree Keepsake — a hand-finished glass bottle holding a miniature tree and a 20-second recording of a voice you love. Set it under the tree this year, next year, and the one after that.
Valentine’s Day. For the person you’d write it in longhand for, if you still wrote in longhand. Launching January.
Mother’s Day. For the women who gave you more than they took credit for. Launching March.
Loved ones, year round. Birthdays, anniversaries, long-distance, the quiet weeks that need marking. A small permanent collection for the gifts that don’t wait for a season.
What we don’t do
We don’t do novelty. We don’t do a hundred SKUs. We don’t do mystery subscription boxes with hidden auto-renewals. We don’t do fake countdowns, fake awards or fictional reviews. We don’t dress a cheap thing up as an expensive one, and we don’t charge an expensive price for something that isn’t worth it.
If you want a Christmas tree ornament, there are a thousand places. If you want a keepsake someone will still have in twenty years, we hope you’ll pick us.
Our promise
Every Keepsake Yard piece ships with a 30-day no-questions money-back guarantee. If the person you gave it to doesn’t love it, we don’t keep your money. The only risk is not giving it.
